Those are such utterly lovely little dogs. If I hadn't been taken in mid-life by an almost obscene need to be owned by a couple of pugs, I would be seeking out such as those.

I'm a cat person. The only dogs I've ever liked have been huge (Bernese Mountain Dogs, Tibetan Mastiffs, et al.) I can only think that this is some sort of peri-menopausal joke on the part of the Diety.
